What is a smart trailer?<\/h2>\r\n

A Smart Trailer is a trailer or semi-trailer equipped with sensors, electronics and communication systems that collect information in real time and send it to the driver, the workshop or the fleet management platform.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Put simply: the trailer \"talks\"<\/strong>. It warns you if a tire is losing pressure, if the brake pads are reaching their limit, if a door has been opened where it shouldn't have been or if the cargo temperature goes out of range. All without anyone having to get out and check.<\/div>\r\n\r\n

The difference from a conventional trailer is not in the chassis or the axles, but in the layer of information added on top. And that layer depends on two things: sensors and connectivity<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n \r\n
