## Introduction

In the transport sector, trust is not given away; it is forged piece by piece. At Onyarbi Industries we are aware that every reference in our catalogue – from the smallest wheel screw to the most complex brake lung for trucks, trailers and semi-trailers – bears a great responsibility. But how are raw materials transformed into the components that keep fleets moving?

Today we open the doors of our main production plant in Europe. We invite you to an exclusive tour of the heart of Onyarbi so that you know firsthand the “how” and the “why” of our quality.

# The Philosophy of “Made in Europe”

When crossing the threshold of our plant, the first thing that is perceived is the dynamism. We are not just marketers; we are manufacturers. Maintaining production on European soil is not a chance decision, but a strategic one. It allows us to have total and immediate control over each batch, speed up engineering changes and ensure that each piece complies with strict Community regulations.

Our catalogue covers a huge range of spare parts for the main manufacturers of first equipment (OE). Achieving this versatility with high standards requires a plant divided into highly specialised sections.

The Productive Process: Where engineering takes shape

The journey of an Onyarbi replacement begins in the R+D+i department, where OE specifications are analysed to ensure perfect interchangeability. Once the design is validated, we move on to action.

Innovation in materials

Precision Machining: We have advanced CNC turning and milling centres (Contuted Numerical Control). Here, steel bars of specific alloys are cut, drilled and polished with micrometre tolerances. It is vital for engine components, gearboxes or steering systems, where a micron makes the difference between smooth operation and premature breakdown.

Deformation and Forging (depending on the part): For parts that require extreme structural strength, such as certain suspension or hitch components, we use forging processes that reorient the granular structure of the metal, making it much more tenacious.

Thermal and Surface Treatments: Crucial for durability. Tempered, cemented or nitrided to harden the surface; and galvanised, cataphoresis or epoxy paint to protect against corrosion (the great enemy of the underside of the trailer).

Every step is monitored. We don’t wait until the end to see if the piece is okay; we make sure it’s okay at every station. But the true obsession with perfection comes after the machining, in the quality department, a topic that we will discuss in detail next week.
